Goal

HEA was seeking a way to raise school scores by implementing a supplemental program after reqular school hours.  

Solution

Through the initial use of the Study Buddy and later the Achiever! students at HEA could engage in both self-paced instruction and a test with standards-based instruction.

Result

Hialeah jumped from a C rating to an A rating. Grade 9 Reading scores on FCAT jumped from 20% in 2009 to 44% in 2011 for students at or above necessary reading levels.
